Why this Muslim beauty blogger refuses to accept a Revlon award from Gal Gadot

Muslim beauty blogger Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, a.k.a., Muslim Girl, is rejecting a Revlon award because of its brand ambassador Gal Gadot, who she says supports the “oppression of women and girls.”
“I cannot accept this award from Revlon with Gal Gadot as the ambassador,” Amani wrote Tuesday on Instagram of the Changemaker award from Revlon’s new #LiveBoldly campaign, an initiative to celebrate diverse beauty.
“Her vocal support of the Israeli Defense Forces’ action in Palestine goes against MuslimGirl.com’s morals and values,” Amani wrote. “I can’t, in good conscience, accept this award from the brand and celebrate Gal’s ambassadorship after the IDF imprisoned a 16-year-old girl named Ahed Tamimi last month, an activist who is currently still incarcerated. I think we are in a moment where we must persist that women’s empowerment includes ALL women. From the bottom of my heart, I feel I would not embody the meaning of the Changemaker Award if I were to accept it in these circumstances.”

And there is that Muslim all inclusive “we are one” stand again. And as to who it is that is oppressing women? It is the Muslim practices that do that. I do not understand why American women particularly the Democratic women support this. What they lose under Muslim rule is amazing. Too bad these women are blind as to what will happen to them under Muslim rule. If they think they are still going to be allowed to speak on their own, are they in for a very big surprise. They had better get used to staying at home, wearing a burka and being available to their husbands and his friends for entertainment whenever they feel like it.

For that matter, she shouldn’t accept an award from Revlon regardless of the person who awards it. The Revlon company was founded by the Revson brothers, who happen to be Jewish. I hope she’s not hired by Revlon to model their product. God forbid she accepts a paycheck from a company founded by Jews. With that type of thinking she’ll be hard pressed to find any job she can “in good conscience” work.

I am confused. Aren’t we constantly told how modest, and naturally beautiful Muslim women are. They are truly liberated. They don’t need to plaster themselves with artificial aids, they choose to cover their heads, their faces, dress modestly, do nothing to entice men , unlike we depraved western whores who flaunt ourselves to tempt good men into evil ways. (at my age, chance would be a fine thing ! ) So how come the lass on the left looks more like a caricature of a monochrome Hollywood vamp-all sultry pouts, pancake and kohl, but having a bad hair day, whilst the one on our right, Gal Gadot, looks healthy, natural and enjoying life ?
